The right version, every time.

Android v1.4.1 updates the profile version label. Install it over the production app from our download page.

Fixes & improvements 02

  • Replaced the outdated v1.2.0 / Build 4 profile label with the installed app version and build number.
  • Made the label update automatically for future APK releases.
Android / v1.4.0

DEV/STATION for Android. Official release.

Version 1.4.0 is available as a direct APK download from the website. Google Play availability will follow later.

  • Released the official DEV/STATION app with the existing showcase, saved work, submissions and private activity inbox.
  • Kept guest browsing and Discord sign-in with existing DEV/STATION accounts.
  • Separated official app updates from tester updates.
  • Updated the download page with compatibility and installation instructions.

  • Clarified that the official app installs separately from DEV/STATION Dev and that local tester drafts do not transfer.
Android beta / v1.3.1

Android beta v1.3.1 brings the website portfolio card design to Explore and Saved.

New features 03

  • Matched the website cards with rounded thumbnails, compact creator rows, member badges and recognition labels.
  • Displayed the full thumbnail without cropping and kept detailed project information one tap away.
  • Added matching loading placeholders in Explore and Saved.

Fixes & improvements 03

  • Adapted creator names and badges for narrow phone screens.
  • Added a retry option for unavailable thumbnails and initials when creator avatars cannot load.
  • Reset image loading state when a portfolio thumbnail changes.
Android beta / v1.3.0

A clearer welcome. Stay in the loop.

Android beta v1.3.0 includes the new opening experience, compatible in-app updates and portfolio activity notifications. Existing beta users install this APK once to enable future OTA updates.

New features 08

  • Added an animated DEV/STATION glass-logo splash with a floating 3D treatment, a light accent and a loading bar.
  • Added three introduction steps explaining how to discover portfolios, save and rate work, and submit a project.
  • Added Skip, Back and Next controls before the Discord sign-in or guest choice.
  • Remembered introduction completion on the phone so returning visitors can get straight to the app.
  • Added compatible app update notices with Download, Restart and Later controls.
  • Added a top notification bell with unread counts for new ratings, public comments and saves on your work.
  • Added a private activity inbox showing member names, avatars, scores, public comment excerpts and links to the work.
  • Added pull to refresh, earlier activity and Mark all read while keeping the profile in the bottom dock.

Fixes & improvements 06

  • Adapted introduction layouts and touch controls for compact phones.
  • Respected reduced-motion preferences and paused decorative animation while the app is in the background.
  • Kept the sign-in return screen accessible during the opening animation.
  • Kept the installed app usable when an update check or download cannot connect.
  • Avoided repeated notifications when someone saves the same work again.
  • Kept activity private to its recipient and labeled unavailable portfolios clearly.
