DEV/STATION uses browser storage for your encrypted account sign-in session. It lets you remain signed in, submit a portfolio, and rate or save work. Temporary session storage entries remember a rating dialog or save you started before signing in. We also save whether you have dismissed the storage notice. These functions are strictly necessary for the features you choose to use.
Local browser storage; lasts until you sign out or the session expires or is manually cleared.
Session storage; used temporarily to return to a rating dialog or save a portfolio after Discord OAuth sign-in, then immediately cleared.
Local browser storage; records that you dismissed the notice. It does not track user activity.
Sign-in and infrastructure.
When you choose Discord sign-in, Discord and our authentication service process encrypted security tokens to verify your account. Our secure hosting network and distributed cloud media infrastructure deliver site assets and portfolio screenshots. If you purchase a paid feature, PayMongo may use its own browser storage during payment and card authentication. DEV/STATION does not use third-party advertising or commercial marketing tracking cookies.
Vercel Web Analytics measures aggregated page views without analytics cookies. It may record the page visited, referrer, approximate location, and browser or device type. Read our Privacy Policy ↗ for details.
Clear or block storage.
You can clear site data at any time in your browser settings. Clearing your active session will sign you out; clearing the notice preference will display the banner again. Blocking essential storage may prevent account sign-in and voting features from functioning.
