Last updated 1 October 2026About this notice.
DEV/STATION is a portfolio showcase and rating community. This notice explains the information handled when you browse the site, sign in with Discord, submit a portfolio, rate work, or save it. DEV/STATION operates the site and decides how its portfolio and community data is used.
Submitting a portfolio means you are asking us to review it and, if accepted, display its public details. Signing in enables account features. We use this information to operate the service, prevent duplicate ratings and abuse, and manage community awards.
Account, work, and activity.
Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, email address, and secure session identifiers. We request Discord permission to identify your account and, if authorized, join you to the DEV/STATION community server.
Title, description, live and optional GitHub links, category, technology tags, cover image, and a developer contact email. Uploaded media is securely processed and hosted via distributed cloud object storage.
Your ratings and optional comments, saved portfolios, submission and review status, awards, and whether Discord reports that you currently boost this server.
If you purchase a membership or priority review, we keep your PayMongo customer, subscription, or checkout reference, payment status, plan, and amount paid. Card details are sent from your browser directly to PayMongo; DEV/STATION does not store card numbers or security codes.
Our cloud infrastructure and security systems may process standard request and security logs, such as IP address and device or browser information, strictly to deliver, protect, and maintain service integrity. We keep one-way identifiers derived from these signals to limit automated requests and repeated view counts; request-limit records are removed after seven days and view identifiers after 90 days.
Vercel Web Analytics records aggregated page views, including the page visited, referrer, approximate location, and browser and device details. It does not use analytics cookies or provide us with individual browsing histories.
Published portfolios are public.
Once approved, a portfolio’s title, description, image, links, category, tags, displayed creator name and avatar, aggregate rating and save counts, and award or premium labels may be visible to anyone, including search engines. Active Discord server boosters may also appear by server display name in the homepage contributor list. Your Discord ID, account email, developer contact email, individual rating numbers, and saved list are not intended for public display. Rating comments are public and appear with your display name and the date on the approved portfolio. The developer contact email is available to authorized reviewers for submission matters.
Before you submit, make sure you have permission to share the portfolio, its image, and any information about other people it contains. External portfolio and GitHub links take visitors to sites with their own privacy practices.
How the platform is powered.
We utilize reputable, enterprise-grade cloud providers for authentication, database persistence, edge application delivery, and secure media storage. Discord provides OAuth sign-in and community server membership information. PayMongo processes payments and recurring billing when you choose a paid feature. Data is processed in secure cloud facilities managed by our infrastructure partners. We do not sell portfolio or account data, and the site does not run commercial advertising or third-party behavioral tracking pixels.
Our Cookies & Storage page ↗ explains the browser storage used to keep you signed in.
Your data and choices.
Account records, submissions, ratings, saved portfolios, historical votes, and published awards are kept while needed to operate the community. There is no automatic deletion date at present. You can ask us to access, correct, remove, or export your information, or to remove a portfolio. We will review and respond to requests under applicable law; some records may need to be retained for security, disputes, or the integrity of published awards.
Your submitted ratings remain in your private rating history if the rated portfolio is deleted. Its title and link are removed from that history, which then shows “This portfolio is deleted.”
You can sign out at any time and clear local browser storage. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to processing or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
